Let us show you…
why flexibility is a VA’s secret weapon when it comes to meeting business needs

In business, time truly does mean money. Once time is spent, you can’t get it back. For these reasons, it’s wise to pay close attention to how you, your management team and staff spend your time within the business. Our clients find that the flexibility offered by having a Virtual Assistant on board saves everybody time and helps to make the business more efficient.

As expert Virtual Assistants based in North Yorkshire, we work to meet the needs of our clients on an individual basis. Business Owl Virtual Assistants have a wide range of skills. As well as being able to turn our hands to various business related tasks, we ensure that flexibility is at the heart of how we operate.

Here are some of the many ways that the flexibility of a Virtual Assistant can make a significant difference to your business and therefore your profits.

Location

We work from our own offices, not from yours. As a Virtual Assistant isn’t based in the physical location of client businesses, we don’t spend time commuting and we aren’t strictly bound by the hours the business is open. We work with businesses across the UK and have also supported clients in Germany and Switzerland.

Working hours

Our Service Agreements are usually fixed at a certain number of hours per month, which can be increased or reduced to suit business need. Ad hoc support can also be offered for particularly busy periods such as covering holidays, maternity/paternity leave or sickness, at an increased rate.

Virtual meetings and networking

Since the pandemic, more and more meetings are held online via Zoom, Microsoft Teams and other similar applications. A Virtual Assistant can log into any of these remotely to take notes or minutes or to represent the business. This can be particularly helpful for owners or members of staff who need information from a meeting but whose time would be better spent working on other areas of the business.

Virtual workers

Working virtually (often from home), we are set up in a way that means we don’t need clients to provide a desk. We purchase our own IT equipment and insurance and are responsible for our own training and development. Clients don’t need to pay towards a Virtual Assistant’s National Insurance, pension, holiday pay or sick pay, or anything else.

Business Owl Virtual Assistants adapt as required

Our clients benefit from the flexibility of having a skilled and experienced Virtual Assistant to support their management team and employees. Working flexibility is our secret weapon and means we can take care of specialist tasks, fill gaps in staffing and adapt to the needs of the business, all in a day’s work! We aren’t tied to a particular role, for example “just admin” or HR. We offer a modern and convenient solution to modern-day businesses.

In summary

Businesses are fluid entities, moving and adapting to their clients’ needs and the market or sector they operate within. It makes sense, therefore, to take advantage of the many flexible benefits that an experienced Virtual Assistant offers. Used to managing their own time (and business), many clients remark on how efficient a Virtual Assistant can be. Also, clients are often surprised at how well a Virtual Assistant can integrate within a business despite not physically being present on-site.
