Business Owl is flying high!

Being able to support businesses through the challenges of the last few months has been an honour and it is gratifying to see the difference it has made for many. It has been great to see client businesses emerging Phoenix-like from uncertain times, shutdowns and constantly changing guidance. Not only have some done well to keep going, but many are soaring.

No rest at Business Owl

Here at Business Owl, I have worked closely with clients to help them deal with the impact of the pandemic, whether by enabling them to cope with reduced staffing, or by helping them to streamline their services and processes. Businesses are emerging strong, having remained focused on supporting their clients and customers effectively. Together we have worked to proactively combat problems by reassessing all areas of their business and assigning work to me as a Virtual Assistant to ensure deadlines are met and goals are achieved.

Business Owl has spread its wings

As a result, Business Owl has been very busy and this has given me the push to move forward with expansion plans. As of last month, I have two VA consultants working for Business Owl. This means that between us, we can offer more availability to new and existing clients and provide cover for each other, so that no business struggles while their particular VA takes time off. With increased capacity, we will be able to enhance core services, as well as continue with niche specialisms such as supporting those in the legal sector and providing WordPress support.

My new team members are highly experienced and like me are dedicated to offering consistent, streamlined and professional services for businesses needing extra support. During the process of creating my team, I have had to learn to practice what I preach, which is of course to delegate!

Tooting the Owl’s hornUKVA Awards Finalist

Despite being a busy year so far and having to constantly adapt to changing circumstances, there have been many silver linings to be grateful for. One of these was finding out that not only have I been shortlisted for the regional VA Awards, but that I have reached the finals. This is an honour and while I have been told I am not very good at blowing my own trumpet, it is an accolade I wanted to share. I am incredibly proud of what I have achieved for my clients and to see this recognised professionally has been wonderful.

In summary

While the demands of 2020 look set to continue, I’m really excited to have additional capacity within the business and look forward to continuing my work with current clients as well as welcoming new clients into the Business Owl fold. We are on hand to help you navigate new landscapes and overcome problems, all with the aim of helping you and your business to thrive.
